People of Falahi
Twenty-one years of rizq and sawab.
“This is a place where I earn both rizq and sawab.”
Mr. Ikramullah
21 years of service at Falahi
We were looking around Falahi for people to photograph when we met Mr. Ikramullah. He was walking a few steps behind his young, teetering granddaughter, whom he had just treated to a juice box and a packet of chips while they waited for her mother at the surgical OPD.
We first assumed he was visiting as a patient. Then, as we prepared to take his picture, he politely told us, “I work at Falahi.” In fact, Mr. Ikramullah has served here for 21 years.
When we asked what Falahi meant to him, he answered calmly, his eyes filled with pride. He spoke of providing a standard of care rarely available at such nominal prices, and of the team’s constant effort to ensure that care at Falahi is no less thoughtful than the care offered by the parent hospital upstairs.
Watching him tend to his granddaughter as they moved through Falahi’s healing halls made the meaning of his words unmistakable: service here is professional, personal, and deeply human.
